A Wondrous Night of Magic and Mayhem Comes to Theatre Three
Prepare yourself for a wondrous night of magic, mayhem, mystery, and astonishing entertainment when the Parlor of Mystery returns to Theatre Three’s intimate Second Stage. This extraordinary evening brings together three unique performers: world-renowned magician Rocco Silano, circus artist and entertainer Greg Milstein, and your host, magician Mike Maione. Expect impossible sleight of hand, incredible circus skills, laughter, surprises, and plenty of moments when you’ll be wondering, “How did they do that?”
Rocco Silano
Rocco Silano is one of the world’s most accomplished sleight-of-hand artists, with a career spanning more than three decades. He is the only American to win awards at two FISM World Championships of Magic, including the 2006 award for Most Original Magic Act. He is also a multiple-time Merlin Award winner and recipient of the prestigious Golden Lion Award from Siegfried & Roy.
Rocco has performed around the world, from Monte Carlo and Paris to China, and has entertained audiences that have included Michael Jackson, Muhammad Ali, and the Queen of England. He has appeared numerous times on Masters of Illusion and starred in VH1’s Celebracadabra. A regular performer at the Magic Castle in Hollywood, Rocco is also the creator of D’Lite, one of the most successful close-up magic effects ever produced.
Greg Milstein
Greg Milstein has been performing and teaching circus arts since 1984, bringing his unique combination of skill, comedy, and audience interaction to thousands of schools, camps, libraries, and community centers across America.
As Executive Director of National Circus Project for more than 20 years, Greg has personally taught circus skills to more than one million students. His performing career has also taken him around the world. He has represented the United States at major international circus festivals in Russia, including performing on the main stage in Moscow’s Red Square. His work as a cultural ambassador has earned commendations from both the U.S. Congress and the U.S. State Department.
Expect Greg to bring some spectacular—and possibly unexpected—circus mayhem to the Parlor!
Mike Maione — Host
Hosting the evening is Mike Maione, magician, entertainer, and founder and producer of the Parlor of Mystery. Since its creation, the Parlor has brought some of the finest magicians and variety performers to Theatre Three for intimate evenings of close-up magic, comedy, and audience participation.
Mike will serve as your guide through this unusual evening, opening the show, introducing the performers, and adding some of his own magic and humor along the way. With his experience as both a performer and producer, Mike knows that the best Parlor of Mystery shows are filled with surprises—and this one promises plenty of them.
